Kaiser Garage Doors & Gates, Inc. (“KGDG”) warrants its workmanship and the consumer products it manufactures against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year commencing on the date the work is completed or the product is purchased, as applicable (the “Warranty Period”). This limited warranty is personal to the original purchaser from KGDG (“Customer”) and may not be transferred. It does not cover ordinary wear and tear, or consequences of misuse, abuse, alteration, inadequate maintenance, operator error, Customer or third-party repair or replacement, building structural defect or change, pests, defective or interrupted energy supply, casualty, or acts of God. In the event of a failure to conform with this limited warranty, KGDG will correct the defect or will at its discretion repair or replace the defective product without charge. Alternatively, at its sole option, it may refund the price paid for a defective product if (i) it has Customer’s consent to do so, or (ii) it is unable to provide replacement and repair is not commercially practicable or cannot be timely made. Implied warranties apply, but they shall expire at the end of the Warranty Period along with this limited warranty. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation of the duration of implied warranties may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, KGDG DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Kaiser Garage Doors & Gates, Inc. makes no warranty whatsoever with respect to, and will not be liable for defects in, products manufactured by others that are purchased from, or delivered, installed or serviced by, KGDG, including but not limited to garage doors, gates, motors, springs, switches, receivers, controls and hardware (“Third Party Products”). Third Party Products are covered only by their respective manufacturer’s warranties, if any. The durations and terms of those warranties vary. Copies of those warranties are available from KGDG upon request. KGDG shall not be liable for any legal or other deficiency of any such warranties or for the failure or refusal of any manufacturer or other person to honor its warranty.
