Each rustic overlay panel is cut from a sheet of solid 24 gauge steel and then run through our proprietary acid-free conditioning process to give it the rich and variegated look of naturally oxidized iron. Sealed with clear powder coating, our rustic overlays do not stain clothing or floors, and their color does not rub off. The finish is in the metal itself and is virtually maintenance-free, requiring an occasional cleaning with mild soap and water. The Rustic overlay can easily be applied to a new garage door or can be used to renew and transform most existing garage doors as well.*
